Philadelphia Premiere
An unparalleled visual experience featuring some of the most important sacred Jewish structures in the world, SACRED SPACES charts the remarkable 3,000-year history of the Jewish Diaspora through its places of worship, examining how these spiritual sanctuaries have figured in the transmission of Jewish values through the ages.

By transporting audiences to these sacred sites and awe-inspiring architectural wonders, director Celia Lowenstein honors and rediscovers these profound and beautiful works of art. Her thoughtful and meditative spiritual journey culminates with the exploration of Philadelphia’s own Beth Sholom Congregation, a Conservative synagogue in Elkins Park designed by world-renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright.
