The National Museum of American Jewish History is proud to present Power of Protest: Power of Protest: How the Society Jewry Movement Can Influence and Inspire the Movement to Combat Anti-Semitism. Mr. Sharansky is the former Deputy Prime Minister of Israel, recipient of the Congressional Medal of Honor and the Presidential Medal of Freedom, human rights activist and author who, as a refusenik in the Soviet Union during the 1970s and 1980s, spent nine years in Soviet prisons. 

In addition to Mr. Sharansky, other speakers will include Elan S. Carr, Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Anti-Semitism, Malcolm Hoenlein, Executive Vice Chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, and more. 

This program is presented in partnership with Combat Anti-Semitism Movement, Israeli American Council, and Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia.
