The Museum is open. The galleries are warm. All we need is you to get the party started. Join us for live music with returning favorite Emmy Award-wining Alex & the Kaleidoscope.

Meet the "man behind the machine" in the special exhibition The Art of Rube Goldberg filled with educational fun for the whole family. Also enjoy Rube-themed crafts, face painting and balloon art from Bon Bon's Parties, classic films, storytime, and more!

Alex & the Kaleidoscope

Live music from Emmy Award-winning Alex & the Kaleidoscope will get the whole family on the dance floor
(Each set is approximately 30 - 45 minutes)

The Clay Studio
11 am - 2pm
We're excited to welcome back The Clay Studio and get our hands dirty with self-drying clay-based fun. Make and decorate your own dove - a universal symbol of peace.

Fun Films for the Whole Family
Screenings include The Three Stooges in Soup to Nuts, a.k.a., Rube Goldberg's Soup to Nuts, in which the main character's business goes bankrupt because he spends too much time on Rube Goldberg-style inventions. Written by Rube Goldberg. (USA, 1930, 70 min)

Important Reminders

  • That’s right – you may BRING YOUR OWN FOOD. (No alcohol, please)
  • There will be family-style seating in the 5th floor event space as always, and of course – please no food or drink in the galleries.
  • The snack stand located within the Museum Store will have a small assortment of kosher packaged goods such as cheese sticks, yogurt, and granola bars, as well as coffee and tea for purchase in case you need a nibble.
  • There will NOT be an additional food vendor this year
  • Kashrut: The Museum snack stand is vegetarian and dairy and not under Rabbinical supervision.

Strollers are permitted in the Museum but indoor stroller parking will be available. You may find that navigating the galleries will be more comfortable without a stroller so please plan accordingly.
