About the Authors:
Irin Carmon is a national reporter at MSNBC, where she covers gender, politics, and law, and a visiting fellow at Yale Law School's Programs for the Study of Reproductive Justice.
Shana Knizhnik is the creator of the Notorious R.B.G. Tumblr. She is a recent graduate of the NYU School of Law, and is currently clerking on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit before beginning her career as a public defender.
